I'm everywhere Focker!
I did not update the scanner with the updated ProScan version until I discovered, one 4-3-25 the scanner was only scanning one site. So I downloaded the program all over again to see if that would solve the problem. I've both uploaded and downloaded the program from the scanner and to the scanner, multiple times. No change to the problem I'm reporting.
So it stopped working before you reprogrammed it, correct? If so then it has nothing to do with ProScan.

@es93546,
Can you post the ProScan database file here so we can see what's going on. Download (from scanner to ProScan) first so the database will have the same settings as the scanner.

If your scanner can't receive site 3 then it will scan past that site in a 80ch/s rate and won't be seen on the display. It only stops for the hold time if the squelch detects a signal. If you set the squelch to 0 it will think that there's a constant signal and will stay on each site for the hold time and are a quick test to see what sites are included in scan.

If it decodes data and detects a TG it will monitor it and when that conversation ends its done with that system and doesn't check any more sites and goes to the next system.

If you have interference from a new nearby transmitter it can de-sense and block certain frequencies and could require you to try different filter settings and/or IFX to be able to receive that frequency again.

If you suspect that you cannot receive a control channel then enter that frequency to the display by Channel+frequency+Channel and set squelch to 0.

Go to your scanners menu and to Display Options / Customize / Set Search/CC Mode and set one display field to show Digital Error Count.
Avoid back to the Quick Search display and check if you hear any audio from the data or just noise. If it receives data it should decode and mute the audio and show the amount of data errors. Go to Menu /Srch/CloCall Opt and Set Filter and try another filter type and Avoid back to the main display and listen if the data signal sounds more clearly, or if it decoded the data then check the error rate for lowest value between each change of a filter.

When all filters have been checked, you can skip the Auto ones, then do Function+7 to toggle IFX On at the main display and check all filter settings again. If the sites you receive have a high signal level, like -75dBm or stronger at -60dBm or higher, you can enable the Attenuator setting to that site to prevent the scanner to be overloaded. You can also do that in the Quick Search display by Function+4.

Thank you for your time making these suggestions. Unfortunately most of it is above my head and ignores one factor in this situation. If I lock out Site 1, Site 2 works fine. The radio used to scan through all 3 sites. This even though Site 3 cannot be received here at my home. I don't have Site 2 locked out as the scanner will not scan through it. Again, if I lock out Site 1 only, Site 2 works and receives what that site is transmitting.

What do you mean by “does not remove ProScan from the scanner”? If all you did was update the ProScan software and DID NOT program/reprogram the radio then ProScan did absolutely nothing to the scanner.

I make updates to the scanner frequently and I can't remember if I updated the scanner shortly after I downloaded ProScan 23.5. I'm trying to identify the function of every talkgroup on the Mammoth Mountain Ski Area's radio system and I identify one of two on a weekly basis. I may have made such a discovery around April 1st, but I don't remember. I don't log every time I do an update. Whether I did or I did not, the problem remains.

I would appreciate all of you having some patience with me. I'm 74 and have been suffering from cognitive decline for 12 years related to suffering from two different sets of circumstances that have caused PTSD. That, and my techy abilities have never been strong, I have or had other talents that made me successful earlier in my life.

While most of us do have patience with those asking questions, you started out refusing it had anything to do with anything but changes in ProScan, you accused us of making jokes with you when we asked legitimate questions trying to narrow down the cause, and now admit you aren't sure what you have done besides update ProScan.

It seems you should be the one having patience with those who were trying to help you.

And I will be 67 soon.

I was 62 when I noticed some cognitive problems. My executive functioning had been at or above the 95th percentile. Last test in 2020 found it at the 12th percentile. For me age is just a number and as time passes my cognitive functioning just keeps getting lower.

I don't know how to do that. I don't know how to get the text file. Even if I did I don't know how to zip it. Any suggestions?
A ProScan programming file, for DMA scanners such as your 325P2 has a text file extension ( *.txt), and thus can be attached to a post without the need to 'zip' (compress) it.

In ProScan, select the 'Database' drop-down menu.

Look at the file name (see highlighted example). That shows you the folder, on your PC, where the programming file is stored, and the name you have given it.

Select the link "Attach Files", in the lower left column of a post you are creating (but not yet posted as a reply).

This will bring up a window like that seen in Windows File Explorer. You can then click on links on screen to get to the folder where your file is located.

Select the file you want to attach & then select the "Open" link to add the file to a post. As already noted above, the default file extension for a DMA scanner ProScan programming file is *.txt, which does not need to be compressed (zipped) to add to a post.

(Programming files for the Home Patrol (database) scanners, such as the x36HP & SDS series, use a different file extension, *.hpd, or *.hpe if exported from Sentinel. Those must be zipped before they can be attached to a post.)

Steve, many, many thanks! I don't have time right away to do this, but will get back to it soon. Hopefully this will help Bob to figure out the problem.

Thanks, that actually was simple and I've done it before. If I haven't done something in the last two years then it is a challenge to remember anything prior to that. I've lost my ability to drive in cities enough that we can't visit family at Christmas anymore. I don't think it will be long for when I can't drive at all. SUCKS!
