scanners to buy or not

i live in a small town in alabama very few trunked systems here only one APCO 25 Digital and it's icom LTR 3600 Baud i have a pro95 witch does Motorola just fine and a BC250D witch does EDACS and LTR fine and all APCO 25 Digital at 3600 Baud i have funds to buy a new radio you all seem to be a very smart bunch here out of these being in a small area witch would be a good scanner/communications receiver { AR 8200MK3 }{IC-R20} {RS PRO96 } {Uniden BC296D } any input would help thank you

I bought the uniden 296D and love it! I wouldn't buy the Pro96 or whatever it is...The 296D is ALL band continuos and the radio shack one is limited on frequencies!
