The ID are sent on the control channel and then the scanner goes to a voice channel which LCN channel number it gets from the control channel data but it seems it doesn't do that. You must have the LCN's set correctly for the voice channels to make that work when set to MotoTrbo. If you program the voice channels to conventional or OFT it will decode the voice without the need to use LCN's, if they are not encrypted.

Program system as MotoTRBO trunked when you determine what frequencies on the license are in use. As previously mentioned LCNs need to be determined & set correctly. If said system is known to the RR database it'll be much easier to use programming software (preferably Proscan) Your RR premium subscription allows you to take advantage of RR's web import service to make programming a whole lot easier
