R8600 Scanning

When programming in scanning ranges, is it possible to add/ edit in a name of the range you’re using?
can’t find details in the manual. I was able to do this in the r8500 but not in the 8600.

No, I mean on the 8600 display when you have the scanning screen up . i have all the bands set but unlike the 8500 I can’t find a way to add a name for the band being scanned, like marine band or air band. Am I missing something or does the 8600 omit this option?

No, not that part. is there a place on that screen you’ve shown to put in the band name? Where yours shows “Ham 60 meter” did you put that in yourself?

Yes i put it there myself. It's not shown in the first picture but i did that with icom software

Everything under "Name" appears on the 8600 screen when selected. I did it with the Icom software. I guess it can be done from the radio itself.
