A lot of my tools went missing over the past year. I want to open up my DV1 to take a look at the speaker. What is the best screwdriver to use to deal with the AOR DV1 cabinet screws. Thanks.

I agree.
JIS 'look' like Phillips, but not quite. Using a standard Phillips screwdriver will work, but will eventually damage/round out the heads. The JIS drivers are what you want.
I've got an older Yamaha dirtbike that uses JIS screws and I had to buy a set.

Kind of expensive, but they are the right tool for the job. JIS #2 is probably what you need. That worked on my AR-2300
