Attempting to re-format SD card for my SDS100 an continuing to get SD Card Error. I have run it through SD Card Formatter several times, put card back in scanner and get same results. My next step is to get a new SD card. Any other suggestions appreciated. Sorry if this is a duplicate thread.

Did you try clear user data in sentinel?

I have always had good results using windows formatting tools.

Edit to add: If you can read and write to the card on your PC, it's probably your process, not the card.

1. Format card using SD Formatter
2. Clear User Data
3. Write to scanner profile/favorites lists and master database

A new (or newly formatted) card will not be recognized by the scanner until you use the "clear user data" function in the Sentinel software. That will write the necessary operating files and info to the card.

It's like putting a blank hard drive into a computer.... the computer won't operate until you put an operating system onto the hard drive.
