BCD436HP/BCD536HP: SD card error

I know that this has been addressed some time ago. My 436 states SD card access error. I have had this in the past and other threads say to remove power for awhile and retry. Has worked before, but now won't. Is there anything else that anyone has done to correct this issue? I love the radio, and really want to get it going again.

Few days ago I encountered the message of “Card Error” in my 436. I reset the card with no success and was about to replace the card with a newly formatted card when I just simply used the feature “ Clear User Data” in the supported Soft ware . I updated the FM and reloaded the FL and now back in business with the same SD card.

Also check that the SD card are properly seated. It was some flimsy card holder that could spring loose and make the SD card move from its proper position.
