FM Filter

Will this device be ok to put inline on my sdr?

I have a FM Broadcast station local to me that will bleed over from time to time and I wanna try and cleanup my hf listening.

Looks like it would work just looking for some input.

No- look at the response curve. That filter passes FM- the exact opposite of what you need. You want a wideband FM notch filter:

That eBay filter isn't even labeled correctly. It's a band pass filter, and a lousy one at that.

I just need one that will help reduce the interference I get from the local radio station. Not exactly sure then what I'm to look for on ebay as that's where I do most of my online purchases from.

There's a very inexpensive one on the RS website that many have found to be very effective, and lots cheaper than the PAR...just do a search on their website, you'll come right up with it

It is cheaper but does not have near the low loss of the PAR in the aero band, has type F connectors and has spurious notches in the 800MHz range. You get what you pay for.

Winradio sell one that is selectable for other uses. I have one. The Band II rejection is high. Search for WiNRADiO WR-UBF-1800 Universal Broadcast Filter.

SEM do an adjustable notch filter for mid-VHF which is really good on strong signals. I have one also.
