Hello,

Trying to use SDR++ (SDRpp) on my mac

Cannot find any setting under the Audio that will produce
any audio. Totally dead.

Even the most basic choice to use the mac speakers won't work.

Any suggestions would be most appreciated.

Happy Holidays,
Bob

Hi,

Thanks for help.

Old age problem I guess, but I always have problems
in using GitHub. Could you please provide, or point me to the correct download ?
Would be most appreciative.

Yes, I did go to the Sinks and the audio output choices.
Nothing works. Audio output totally dead.
Might be my setup, but more likely I am not doing something correctly directly
in the program.

Happy Holidays, and thanks for help.

Regards,
Bob

Hi Bob.

I also find GitHub very difficult to understand and use. Downloading SDR++ for Mac is the only time I've been there. Nevertheless, I did also manage to upgrade to 1.2.0 in August and that appeared to seamlessly install over 1.1.0 without any data or settings loss.

Release SDR++ Nightly Build (currently 1.2.1) · AlexandreRouma/SDRPlusPlus - is where I got the downloads.

I see the latest build 1.2.1 was released on 19 December. I've tried to attach a copy here but it is too large. I'm not going to install it on mine as I don't want to mess with it. Works just fine as it is. I'll check out the forums one day. Wait for 1.3.0.
Have a look at the Issues and Discussions tabs at the top of the GitHub page.
I see this is called MacOs intel. Do you have an intel Mac or a newer M version? Mine is 2017. I can't imagine that would be an issue but why would he mention it in the title?

Cheers,
Rick
