SDR Serial Number NOT Enabled.

I was trying to change the serial number on an SDR and it shows Serial Number Enabled: No.

It will not accept a serial number and indicates - Error: String too long, truncated.

Works on other SDR's with Serial Enabled.

How do I enable the serial number?

Restoring a damaged RTL-SDR device

Thanks to a lot of people who helped me along the way, I have successfully restored the memory image to a damaged RDL-SDR device. Attached is a .PDF file showing the steps I followed. If the procedure is unclear, please suggest changes.
