SDR Sharp not working after windows update

SDR Sharp wasn't working after windows updated. It would "run" but it would make a weird screeching noise and the display/waterfall wasn't right. I uninstalled it and installed the newest version from the SDR# with community plugins, no difference. Not sure if there is just some setting enabled/disabled or if it is a windows compatibility problem.

Anyone else seeing this/have a fix?

I don't think it's a Windows update problem. SDR# runs here with W10 and W11.

Can you be more specific about what updates to which version of Windows? What's recent in Windows Update → View update history (or whatever the equivalent is)?
