I'm at the beginning stages of SDR Trunk (and SDR in general...), but I have a basic understanding and have it working for most frequencies I listen to.
Waterfalls: Can I display more than 1 waterfall at the same time? I'm running 2 RTL-SDRs, and the frequencies I'm monitoring are too far apart to see all of them on one waterfall.
Alias lists: Can multiple channels share an alias list or do they each need their own? This one is hard to explain (I'm not even sure if I understand what I'm seeing). I have two channels (different frequencies, of course) that have share the same radio IDs using them (different talkgroup for each frequency). Dispatch is the same entity for both frequencies. One frequency is county sheriff and the other is local police. The local police are actually contracted from another city (town can't afford it's own), and they are dispatched by the county sheriff (same as the first frequency). The sheriff is using TG1, while the local PD (dispatched by the same sheriff) is TG65535.
Lots for me to figure out here, but for now, why don't radio IDs show up for the local channel if they share the same alias list as the sheriff? The TG alias shows up correctly.
