Howdy,
I've programmed frequencies on SDRTrunk for DMR Conventional. It just sits on idle when I key up. The LSN tables are blank. My radio has the correct frequency programmed and it is transmitting (my Baofeng can hear the raw data). Does anyone know what I did wrong?

Thanks,
David

I've seen people do it online, it's receiving on the frequencies but the timeslots aren't picking up any voice.
SDRTRUNK does decode DMR.
Did you check if another program such as Dsdplus can decode your transmissions?
Can you check other frequencies that transmit DMR?

DSDPlus has given me problems so I don't typically use it. The last place to use DMR was our city bus company but they moved to FM.

I've had this issue as well. Will continue to watch this thread to see if anyone has a solution.

I actually forgot about the MADRN and connected SDRTrunk to it. It decodes and connects to the control channel. It won't decode any conventional (simplex) DMR from my XPR.

Kind of old but here is this --

This is from the developers website (GitHub - DSheirer/sdrtrunk: A cross-platform java application for decoding, monitoring, recording and streaming trunked mobile and related radio protocols using Software Defined Radios (SDR). Website:)

I have the JMBE Library installed, I'll try to update it and see if that fixes it.

I have no experience with Simplex DMR and SDRTRUNK. But for repeaters/Cap+ it works for me.
You should give Dsdplus fastlane another try. It is a great software when you get the commands correctly and it works fine with DMR and more.

I'm doing DMR with a minimum of issue. I have to chase the DMR output of a hotspot using PPM adjustment (set to auto-correct) to get the signal completely inside the frequency selected. Yes. MMDVM boards are generally several hundred hz above or below desired frequency. I have an older E4000 that I've had to add around 30 ppm to bring the signal into the window as it is NOT auto-correctable just to get audio to decode. Also, you may have to make sure the SDR receiver isn't overloaded by moving it far away or adjusting gain setting. It is ALSO helpful to roll the sample rate to a minimum to be able to see what you are steering to. :)
Hopefully my screen caps come through. Good luck.

I think I found my issue and it's that the SDR hardware is busted. I'll have to order a new one and try this.
