What makes you think there is beta software available for the SDS100? I’ve not heard of anything like this.

Are you talking about the new firmware update that was released recently? There isn't any beta firmware/software
There are a few custom firmwares available, but they are not from Uniden.
hazrat8990, you wouldn't happen to know if there is a firmware available for the BC125AT, that would add the "save ctss/dcs code" to the E button? I love everything about that scanner except for that missing option. I would be willing to pay for that option.
Proscan & Uniden Sentinel are the only two apps for the SDS100 that matter

One man’s opinion. I would also include Butel ARC Pro, which is what I use. But the only reason I do is because it’s what I started out with many years ago. There’s absolutely nothing wrong with ProScan. And Sentinel is necessary regardless of what aftermarket software is being used.
Yes, I also would like to learn about where and what these “custom firmwares” are all about.
buddtousa; Why would you call any aftermarket firmware a hack? Isn’t the SDS series open source, where the term “Hacking” is somewhat harsh?

I would avoid any firmware other than issued by Uniden. Remember the Whistler "unofficial upgrade?"

I'm not saying that it is a good idea to use it, I was just simply proving that there is indeed alternate firmware available.
Had it & used it. Found it rather clunky compared to Proscan...
