On my SDS-100 when searching on UHF for DMR channels I pickup many channels that hold but I get no audio at all, they show excellent rssi and low error count.
I look carefully but never see "encrypt" flash at all. Other DMR channels work fine.
Searching on average I would say 40% have excellent audio and 60% of channels never have any audio.
Any help on this is appreciated.
Thank You

Hard to say for sure without examples & not being in your area. Keep in mind not every DMR frequency/timeslot will carry voice at all times. Could be anything from a control channel (or rest channel for CAP+) to a timeslot carrying only data, perhaps LRRP or ARS. Have you done a frequency data search to see if any have been identified in the RRDB?

What kind of DMR system is it? Could you possibly be hitting a Data Channel?
