im in edmundston nb canada since im a newbie in digital scanners
wil i need any upgrades for this scanner for my area dont want to buy upgrades i dont need and willing to buy upgrades that i need i see some upgrades like dmr etc whatever that is ill learn down the line but i just want to make sure i got what i need so i dont miss anything

Just at a quick glance of your area, I see no DMR or NEXDN. Everything looks to be conventional analog or P25 trunked. Looks like most police are encrypted but fire and EMS in the clear.

Fire and police local got new stuff coming soon that y im upgrading but not sure what that will be wont be convetional
