I was just thinking a little NOALOX on the tin foil fix might help with conductivity seeing how their seams to be a grounding issue. Its cheap and easily obtainable at electrical supply house or Home Depot.

I would not say slather the mitigation part you would only need a very small amount for it to be effective and keep it from migrating.
