Saw that. I just checked out their site the other day after it was brought up here. I'm a reading fool. Mom would kill me if I bought anther one. The SDS100 is usually $699, but they had it at $649.

Standard price is $649... The price they had it for was $614.99... $35 off...

Normal selling price of the SDS's is $50 off the list price... $699.99 list for 100, $749.99 list for the 200...

As a final comment since I was the one that originally mentioned MTC, If you sign up for emails, they notify you of many special sales through the year and Scanners are probably included in half of them. I got both my sds100 and Sds200 at reduced price from them and they also have very special deals where I got an Icom v80 handheld new in box for $5 and a new Yaesu ft 4xr dual band handheld for $10 when I purchased the scanners at 2 different times…did I need the radios?…of course not but how could you pass these deals up especially the Yaesu, great little radio! These type sales are very brief so you have to be ready to buy.

Pretty sure I've seen them both of a normal price of $699 most of the time on most sites. I get the sale price deal, especially when you need to look in the cart.

These guys actually responsive? I placed an order with the little discount (thanks for the heads up) and received a confirmation email about 6 days ago, but that was it. No answer to email follow up and phone just rings.

I have had great customer service from MTC over the years. No complaints. Fast shipping, etc.

They are a small family owned business. They do not have a large staff.
