This is just my opinion, but I've noticed heavily that I really wish there was a way to hold on a channel without the priority override taking over. For example, I'm listening to a track on a Tac 1, but SHP is just going available for calls when i really don't care about them at this point in time if they're not on scene.
Yeah you can avoid out the channel, but then you have to sit through the BS talking until they're done or you scroll though your FL until you get back to tac 1.

I wish I can just double click the hold/channel button and it gives me like a "priority hold" so it can't switch back and forth between channels marked pri. in my scanner.

I don't care about SHP's wreck on the other side of the county when I know comms is going to take them 6 years to pass that info along. Or the medical helo getting dispatched to a transport but now I'm stuck listening to it :cautious:

Agreed, for me that’s the most annoying thing with the SDS scanners. You have to cancel the priority scan manually by hitting Function and then Priority until the priority mode is off. Then once you want to start scanning again you have to re-enable the priority mode. Would be nice to have another priority mode option that would cancel all priority scan when holding, and resume when scanning without having to mess with hitting several button combinations.

I actually never knew about that option. Even though it sure as heck sounds like too many button presses. Sometimes maybe worth it though.
