Looks like any time over 18 seconds causes it. Also anything over 18 seems to set the hold time for a much greater time (255??) as I set mine to 19 and watched it for 45 seconds and it never left the CC.

This was anti-climactic. From discovery to cause was about an hour, now let's see how long it takes for it to be fixed (hopefully I still have the radio to test it out).

Just noticed the issue last night with one of my "255 hold time" systems as well. Glad you caught this and brought it up. Oddly display on-time doesn't have as much impact on battery run time as I would expect it to, so from that angle it's not a huge deal. However at night when even the dimmest setting on black and white mode is used, it is still very bright to be on constantly in a dark bedroom (sitting on the nightstand nextvto me). I'm thinking this could be an easy firmware fix.
