I read the whole discussion, the only thing I see was the “draw” for the SDS and not the two of them together. I need to know so I can get the right size cigarette lighter adapter to run the combination.. what I am using now gives me the low voltage message.
Maybe its your vehicle cig port not providing enough juice. Read up on your vehicle owners manual on the cigarette port you are using, and report back... what I am using now gives me the low voltage message.
Unlikely. The typical cigarette lighter jack has a 10A fuse, sometimes even higher.Maybe its your vehicle cig port not providing enough juice. Read up on your vehicle owners manual on the cigarette port you are using, and report back.
It's less than 100mA for the GPS. Check that the ciggplug can deliver 1A or more. If you charge the SDS100 battery at the same time it will be an additional 500mA. I have several ciggplugs and most of them are of bad quality and stops working when temperature reaches the freezing point and one drops power when it heats up after a while of use and one could initially power two dashcams but after a couple of months it could only manage one dashcam.I read the whole discussion, the only thing I see was the “draw” for the SDS and not the two of them together.
