I used multiple programs to read the metadata from recorded SDS100 calls (same call used for this test). I was wondering why some fields are different? In the screenshots shown, why is the "BCDx36HP" labeled under different fields? Is it a parsing issue with the metadata program?
Because Windows uses ID3 to tag mp3 file metadata & RIFF for .wavs. I guess Uniden had to conform to these standards so metadata could be displayed neatly in common media players (Windows Media Player, Winamp, VLC and the like)
