I have several of the local PA STARNet sites (Crawford & Erie counties) programmed in my SDS100. I am receiving transmissions from all except Cussewago (CRAW37).
I have tried using the SDS database in Sentinel. I have PROSCAN manually, using PROSCAN RR download, etc. All sites except Cussewago (CRAW37) are received. The display shows RSSI value of -95 -96. The dispaly is showing P25 NAC: 941h. But the Site ID is blank with sites such as Townville will show Site ID of 6.
I have a Whistler 1098 sitting near it and it is picking up Cussewago (CRAW37) with no issues. I have even tried the same antennas on both radios with no differences in reception. I have gone and matched the frequencies between the radios and there is no difference. So, whatever it is related to the SDS100. I have tried various filter setting on the SDS100 (OFF, Normal, Wide (all variations), Auto, Invert) all to no avail. As for my location to the Cussewago (CRAW37) and other towers, Townville is nearest while the Erie County towers are farther away. Cussewago (CRAW37) is about the center of distances. As for other transmitters, no other VHF are any whereas close to me and cell towers are not close enough to cause issues. Any ideas?
