Anyone else had issues with saving temporary or permanent avoids in a favorites list?

FYI: My favorites list was created on the radio (I don't have a PC, only Mac) by using the "Add Current dB Channels." When scanning the favorites, and using the avoid function, the avoided channels do not show up in the favorites when "reviewing avoids." I can go to the full data base and they are there. I was hoping to be able to use temp. avoids in each favorite list so removing or canceling avoids would be easier than searching the full data base.

I also noticed when I choose "Select Lists to Monitor," the "Full Data Base" must be selected in order to scan, as choosing just my favorite channel results in "Scan Mode." Nothing to Scan. I was not sure if this was related so I'm making a note of it.

Thanks.

I'm having no such issues and must be a user setting error. I'd be more than happy to connect to your MAC if you have Sentinel running on it and take a look?

Just PM me.

Thanks. After a couple of hours I figured it out. There is a setting under "Set Scan Selection" / "Manage Quick Key Status" that must be turned to "on." Thanks for the note.

After picking a favorites list to monitor, you have to choose the service type, just back up one step from set scan selection and scroll down to select service types, it will scan all the types that are available for your list and you can go through and turn on and off what you do or do not want it to monitor, without doing this it will always give you that message "nothing to monitor". hope this helps :)
