I have Uniden’s SDS100, and have a quick question about one of the settings: Site NAC Operation

When monitoring our P25 system (I listen to the Tulsa site) is it best to select Use Site NAC
or Ignore Site NAC?

Also, is there any difference between NFM and FM modulation for our P25 I System?

Thanks

Ignore Site NAC means the scanner will pass transmissions from the site, regardless of the NAC the transmission is tagged with. Use Site NAC will only pass traffic with the specified NAC. Use Site NAC is preferable if you have two systems within reception range that share one or more frequencies, and you want to ensure traffic on the shared frequencies is tied to the correct system. In all other cases, Ignore Site NAC is probably better, because if the NAC changes, or the NAC listed for the site is wrong, you won't get any traffic from the site.

Some people say using FM improves P25 reception vs NFM, but I've not been able to confirm that with my own testing.
