SDS100 sound

I love my SDS100, it sounds good when sitting at my desk, but outside or in my car it is hard to hear, I tried using an old uniden speaker from a CB, I tried using a powered, for lack of better term, speaker but still have hard time hearing the scanner, any suggestion on what to use? Thanks

Thanks, kinda looking for something where not just me can hear, I'll be using this on my boat while fishing, and my buddy likes to listen as well.

I’ve used a Bluetooth transmitter to a Bluetooth speaker. I think the usual popular one is “Ugreen” brand.

Listening through your car stereo may also be possible with a aux in cable or Bluetooth adapter as mentioned by @dispatchgeek .

I've used bluetooth as well in the past, but you need to be careful because many bluetooth speakers have unadjustable power settings that automatically turn themselves off when there hasn't been any audio for the past 10-20 minutes.

Also, some artificially boost the bass, making it difficult to understand most radios.
