Does Universal Radio have stock? Quite often they list an item for sale, will accept the order, and yet have no stock on-hand.
FYI you can now (11-16-2018) order the new Remtronix REM-820S 800 MHz antenna with the O ring for the SDS100 from Universal Radio. The price is $22.95 (plus $6.95 flat rate shipping on orders up to $50.00) and the Universal Radio Order # is 6269: https://www.universal-radio.com/catalog/scanners/6100.html
Is anyone else currently selling this antenna (820S),besides universal radio? Also are these in stock or am I in line for a preorder?FYI you can now (11-16-2018) order the new Remtronix REM-820S 800 MHz antenna with the O ring for the SDS100 from Universal Radio. Universal radio said its a preorder and and remtronix will have it available for distribution after thanksgiving. There is no indication on the Universal Radio website as to whether or not the Remtronix REM-820S antenna is currently in stock or if they are just currently accepting pre-orders. Your best bet would be to call them at 1-614-866-4267 or email them at dx@universal-radio.com to find out for sure. Please post whatever information you find out so that others reading this thread will be in-the-know.
This was from the Universal Radio Online Sales today
The first shipment of the REMTRONIX REM-820S antennas are due to arrive tomorrow.
I talked to universal radio they said shipping starts today.
A little long of antenna to carry on a belt clip on your hip I think.l also did buy this one from Ebay and it works awesome on all bands. I am curious to see which one will perform better.

Are you using the larger battery or the small one? I've noticed that the larger battery provides better stability.Yes,15 inches is long. I have to attach guide wires to it when the wind blows. lol
