I have a question, I have programed both scanners the same both have dmr upgrade, as you can hear the 536 hp can decode the traffic on this frequency but the sds200 stops on it but all static any help as to why would be appreciated.

FWIW the system to the right is a P25 system so having the DMR upgrade is a moot point in this scenario. Nothing jumps out to me just looking at your screenshot, I'll let someone else go through the zip file to get into the nitty gritty of your programming...

Same antenna? Same programming? (The x36HP series and the SDS series both take the same programming. I’m just asking if everything is the same as much as possible between both radios so a good comparison can be realized…

Yes identical programing from radio reference, same antenna(Diamond Antenna D3000N) split with CM-3424
channel master powered splitter.

The zip file is just the audio from the 536 and sds200

If your using same antenna thru a splitter, try swapping the cables. Take the one going from to 536 and hook it to the 200. Could be a problem with the splitter or patch cord.

That CM-3424 is a splitter designed to split TV signals.
"and includes built-in out of band filters and a 4G/5G LTE interference filter".
Probably cranks up the noise floor quite a bit also, which very well may be overloading the front end of your SDS200.
IMO, wrong tool for the job.

To split a single antenna for use on multiple scanner radios, use a multicoupler specifically designed to do the job intended (not a TV splitter). Like a Stridsberg MCA204M or MCA208M.

They aren't cheap, but they do work quite well and Herr Stridsberg is the real deal.

If I had known you were going to pull the trigger so quickly, I would have offered you my 'spare'.
Had a 204, but with multiple RTL-SDRs and multiple radios, I needed 8 ports... So, the 4 port is on the surplus shelf.

Frequencies are in the 155MHz band which can be difficult to handle using a SDS scanner as they are sensitive to any strong signals, which there often are a lot of in that band, and it will be interfered and de-sense. Have you tried setting IFX to those frequencies and different kinds of filter settings?

That ChannelMaster amp have a 7,5dB gain and no coverage above 600MHz. Have you tried the SDS200 connected without the CM3424? If that doesn't work then an expensive Stridsberg will not help, that have worse specifications than the CM amp.

You can connect a CATV 1-4 splitter after the CM and feed your scanners from that to lower the gain closer to 0dB or use fixed attenuators, but you will still not have full frequency coverage.

54-88MHz, 174-216MHz, 470-608MHz. (Filters / Signal Attenuation is Applied to Frequencies Outside of these Bands)

If you need full frequency range you have the Electroline EDA series with the same spec as a Stridsberg but depending of their output level you might need to reduce the signal using an attenuator with F connectors that comes in different dB values or a splitter to lower the signal level.

When using a discone antenna they have their most gain in the 100MHz range, where high power radio broadcast transmitter are, so a FM broadcast filter will always be useful.

I have both those radios and also find the 536 better than the 200 on DMR.
I've tried all sorts of different settings, but it makes very little difference.
It may be different if the repeaters were closer to my location, but the nearest is 10k's
