Can someone tell me what a solid green light in the upper left corner of the display signifies? I have looked in the user manual and cannot find any mention of it.

Yo
The upper left corner of the display is the Function Mode indicator.

Have you customized the display? From your description, It sounds like the Function Mode indicator field has been set to green color. What happens when you press FUNC?
you are correct, when I press function I can barely see the “F” after pushing the function key which it then turns white. I will change that! Thanks 😊

Hi,

Can you explain this "function mode" a bit, please ?
What used for, when, etc. ? Unique, or other ways to do what this does ?

Thanks,
B.

Function is a modifier key, very much like "SHIFT" or "ALT" or "CONTROL" on your keyboard. If you read the easier to read manual referring to navigating the menus, you can see how it is used in operation to modify what a keys usual function is.

Easiest illustration is to push it, and then see what the bottom of the screen softkey tags change to.
