What part of Starcom is VHF high? Looks like 700 & 800 MHz to mevhf hi frequencies while scanning Illinois Starcom
I have changed it to various settings but usually 3 or 4Oh you're scanning VHF high in addition to Starcom? What level is your squelch set?
If the system is programmed as a trunked system like it should be then you shouldn't be hearing "static" at all regardless of how low the squelch is set. Something's probably up with your programming. Zip up & post your Sentinel .hpe export so we can have a look

i believe it is part of the simulcast on vhf hi
That was the way the sd card from scanner master were programmedOh you're scanning VHF high in addition to Starcom? What level is your squelch set?
You should be able to use Sentinel. Sentinel targets the .NET Framework 2.0 so it will work with Windows XP and above.Have problems with older computer unable to use Sentinel at this time.

Still might help to be armed with this info & your monitoring location @flborror so we can get eyes on the database or FCC search to get a clearer picture of the specific frequencies you're having trouble bringing in. DMR or NXDN emissions can be mistaken as "static" if your scanner doesn't have the paid upgrades to be able to decode them
If it all of sudden did this then probably some new transmitters started to be in operation that cause interference, if your antenna are still functioning as it should.a 200 would all of sudden start having a lot of static on vhf hi
