Search for escapee Chester Co

The 11pm news reports a homeowner had a 22 cal rifle stolen this evening and homeowner fired shots at the suspect that looked like the escapee. This was in the Northern Chester Co area. As of 2340L one PSP helo was searching the area while another PSP helo (Trooper 5), came back to KRDG for refueling.

@0110L PSP helos were on 155.475 briefly as one PSP helo was going back to KRDG for refueling. They are checking to move to an encrypted freq for air/air comms.

Time zone is user-set. Make sure to set to your proper time zone thusly:

All the good stuff is on the psp system, they clamped down all the talk on the county system, when PSP took over and switched to J Tac 1 (TG 10042) the patches went down from Avondale PSP.

Last night there was a lot of chatter on 65151

Got back a little while ago from a car wreck and we went through the OJR parking lot (call was on the road behind the school complex). Looked like a militarized zone. Equipment and personnel from Chester, Delaware and Montgomery Counties as well as the PSP. Even using the parking lot between the middle school and high school for a helicopter LZ. The Trooper at the checkpoint we had to go through with our Rescue actually thank us for our service. That was class. Not sure how they are going to have school tomorrow if he isn’t caught tonight.

Troop E is sending Troopers from it's area (NW Pa) to assist.

The a/a freqs 123.025/136.375 are busy (Troopers 2,5,9; Idaho 87; Gunsmoke 5 yesterday; one Fedcomm freq stands out: 171.4375 N653 multi-agency with the Big E round the clock. The FBI has been busy on a number of freqs with the Big E; not sure if they are related to the manhunt.

0830.. Pennsylvania State Police caught escaped murderer in Pottstown. Exclusively caught by KYW Chopper. Chopper 10 arriving now pretty much missed the whole thing, subject is in custody. Here is the exact location.
