I have not listened to SFD in awhile and heard SFD talking on TG 1840 SFD 11A Command Support, does anyone know what this is used for ?

I understand that TG 1744 is 4A Dispatch

TG 1648 is 1A Primary Fire Operations

TG 1680 is 2A Secondary Fire Operations

TG 1712 is 3A Tertiary Fire Operations

And I don't care about EMS

I am not sure? But I've heard them actually dispatch calls and immediately assign the call to 11.

If there's a large incident, the command will switch over to Ch 11 for onsite communications.

SFD had an apartment fire tonight and on the 1-11 response you got the two closest Battalion Chiefs and Deputy 1. Upon arrival your first Company Officer on the engine or Truck establishes Command the fist arriving B.C. assumes Command. Next arriving B.C. assigned Safety. Deputy 1 arrives makes a face to face with Command and takes over. Assigns person he relives to Operations. Radio Communications between Dispatch now with Deputy 1 who is Command on 11A and radio traffic between Operations and fire ground companies on 1A, 2A, or 3A.
