Second Charlottesville Bank Robbery

Search under way in the Pantops area for a suspect in a robbery at the BB&T bank at Pantops just off State Farm Drive. County PD with K9 units trying to track. Just now breaking down the perimeter. Released N30VA VSP helicopter. Dogs had various tracks all afternoon but no one caught yet. Still following a track north of US250.

Another bank was robbed a few days ago at High St and Locust Ave, no one caught for that one yet.

Both perps were arrested over the weekend, news said one was arrested in Richmond. The Pantops robber was from Gordonsville. It appears they found what they thought were his pants by a dumpster in the shopping center, in one of the pockets was a cell phone. DOH! Not sure if he took them off or if they fell off when he was running away....
