Does it make sense, that I could "T" the feed from a single security camera, to two 'control box's' ??

Such as have two points to monitor the feed ??

How are you controlling it now?

What type of feed is it.....

IP (internet)?
wireless?
USB?
composite video?

Well... I am currently feeding 8 composite video cameras to an 8ch DVR/Switchbox and an 8ch Switchbox. The DVR is located in my radio/computer room and the switchbox is located in the `master bedroom'. I just used some BNC `Ts' to split the feeds and a couple `4 port to 4 twisted pair cable' BALUNs to connect between the 2 locations. I also have used `Ts' at the front and back doors to provide a signal to small monitors at those locations to enable checking out who might be there before actually opening the door if we haven't first checked on one of the other 2 monitors. So far I haven't noticed any degradation of the signals though the 2 door monitors have only been in use for the first part of this year.

Depending upon what type/quality of your cabling, distance of the runs, ETC "your Mileage May Vary". Choose your longest run, or runs, and give it a try before going all out.
