Selecting ID's

I know I read this somewhere, but I cannot find it. When scanning a trunked system on the 246, can you stop the scanning and manually select a TG ID by rotating the scroll knob? It seems logical for a Uniden, but I don't want to assume.

Yes. Press HOLD while scanning the system. If the scanner was idling on the system (no voice traffic), you'll hear the control channel and see the CC frequency. Scroll past all the entered system frequencies and you'll start to see the programmed TGID's. Stop scrolling when you get to the one you want to hold on.
