Sentinel: Sentinel - Sites

Hello,

I have 3 questions and I hope I am in the right forum.

I recently stayed in Custer County Colorado. I used Sentinel to load the County Wide Channels. While scanning, my Uniden SDS 100 scanned every single site in Colorado, which there are a lot, instead of just Deer Mountain, which is the Site in the County.

SO:

1. Why does Sentinel download all the Sites in the entire State if I choose a specific County that has only 2 Sites?

2. Is there a way/setting to download only the Sites that are in the county I am downloading?

3. Is there a setting on the scanner so that it stays on one Site instead of scanning through all of them?

Try "Site Hold"

Use location settings, not perfect but will restrict it.

It will load all the Colorado DTRS sites but if you use location control it won't scan them. All sites outside your range settings will be put into temporary AVOID mode.
