Sentinel: sentinel software up date

monday morning nov 15 2022, I updated the database file and updated the sds 100 scanner . Then noticed that the us and canadian directory now has most of the county and provinces info just blank
empty listings under new york city nation wide zero content
state wide zero content
county systems zero content
but albany county system has 27 listings

now when i try to scan national systems . the scanner indicates a failure no nationwide systen in range . Change location setting .
I am at max range 50 miles .
I have not updated sds200 or database and it still l function s .A archived copy of sentenil db shows all states and provinces
sub levels have full data sets

Just updated my 436 scanner and everything is ok

I just updated Sentinel and all Nationwide under NYC is showing for me. Same with State and County. Cant speak for Canada as I dont know what was there to begin with.

Maybe your download is corrupt. What version of Sentinel are you running?

I am using 2.02 rev 01 on the pc I pictured above and I am running 2.03 rev 00 this on this pc and both are displaying the said items without any issues.

From the top tool bar in Sentinel....

Click tools ---> Options ---> click "Start" (next to reconstruct full database)

Once that finishes, with your scanner connected to your computer in "mass storage mode" click scanner ---> write to scanner ---> check the "force write full database" box, and then click "OK".

Where are you talking about? Partial load in Sentinel db or partial load in the scanners db?

i found how to fix the computer sentinel db . I dug down in the hidden and locked files
path this pc >Local C: > users >All Users>uniden>BCDX36HP Sentinel >database.
then i removed MASTERHPDB zipped file and a Masterhpdb ,extension HP1 file
Then sentinel was run and upgraded with all the states /provinces nation wide state wide and county fields
totally filled
But in the down time i screwed up the micro sd card and radio indicates run sentinel to clear user data but nothing happens when
it is connected does not cycle to choose " e" or "." just stays on the message to use sentinel

Ok, thats a good thing and we are moving forward.

Follow the steps here for the sd card. Use a card reader if possible and if you do, make sure you select the correct drive letter assioated with the sd card.

i used this software to format the micro sd card SDCardFormatterv5_WinEN then dropped a backup copy of original sds100 to the card .
All seems to be good , Thanks to everyone
