Typing in the dark equals no sense at all...lol

Maxtracs can have their power turned down and will run much cooler than full power, BUT you can only turn them down so far. If you try to tuen them down too far, then they get even hotter than if set to normal ouitput power.

Hi Rescue and all,

Before you invest a LOT of time and money on the installation and MORE time and money on system maintenance ask yourself this question.

Do I NEED a repeater or am I building an ego box?

That comes before you realize you have bitten of more than you can chew just to stroke yourself. There's a LOT more to it than you realize which is why repeaters for the most part are organizational ventures, they have the manpower and resources you lack as an individual.
