I have two XHDATAs, two of the small analog ones. XHDATA D-219 and XHDATA D-328. The 328 is better on shortwave. But in my location it needs maybe 10-20 ft (3-6 meters) of wire clipped to the antenna. It brings in any station my other radios will bring in. The D-219 is better (for me) on MW. In some locations SWL's have good performance on the D-219 on SW off the whip. My location is a low signals location (surrounded by close hills).
I have read a lot of good things about the XHDATA digital readout radios. They are all very affordable (compared to other brands) but work well, especially the XHDATA D-109 (affordability, works well off the whip, digital tuning, etc.).
