If have over $10.00, go to radio shack and purchase "Police call"
In the back you should find some 10-codes for O.H.P.

HERE ARE A FEW SIG's:

SIGNAL 87: Intox. Ped.

SIGNAL 88: Intox. Driver

SIGNAL 89: HIT AND RUN

SIGNAL 30: D.O.A.

Thanks for that, any ideas for the "signal" codes? I think we all know stuff like signal 82 etc, but what's a signal 3?

I'm going to assume that most are the same or very similar between Oklahoma City Police/Fire and OHP. I know Midwest City is different.. sometimes it's hard to get used to hearing a "Signal 7" (non injury accident) on Midwest City, and you're used to hearing a signal 7 (dead body) in OKC.

Not here, or at least I don't think there are that many drunks in Canadian county, I hear it about 5 times an hour.

I stopped by OHP's Troop A headquarters last month,
and asked for a copy of their Signal and Code lists.
The lieutenant I talked to said he could'nt give that info out, because of "homeland" security reasons.
I tried to get it for everyone here, but it didn't work out that way.

That's 10-99, or sometimes just 99 here in Stillwater.

"87 to Central, I'll be 99, Conoco, McElroy & Perkins"

Signal 99 (used in Glenpool)

Potty break

Does anyone use it though? I don't think most folks check out on the radio to use the facilities.

Uh huh..someone I know used to do the same thing, only in reverse when coppers wanted to 28-29 everything with wheels. It's amazing how fast "OLETS is down" can happen when folks run too many 28's. However, the smart coppers call another agency to see if thier OLETS is down too. If it's not, chances are, the dispatcher is full of crap. Later!
