I wish they would you use plain english all across the country, In your
neck of the woods signal 42 means lunch break the local PD in Baton
Rouge and SO a signal 42 mean an armed robbery. And if you think
that confusing the State of Louisiana uses the State Criminal Code for dispatching for example; A signal 42 is means rape because the
statute is 14:42 where as a robbery is a signal 64, hence staute
14:64. And an automobile accident if dispatched by BRPD or EBRSO
is a signal 52. However if the State dispatched a unit to a wreck they
send it out as a signal 20. And a signal 52 according to the State code is 14:52. I wish BRPD and EBRSO would go to the State System
of code dispatching because when the officer makes an arrest they
already know what they are going to charge the arrestee with.
Lord I apologize for confusing everyone about this.
have a good day and a better one tomorrow

Signal 69: Tulsa NIMS Queers are on the loose again and county is refusing to respond.

However funny I might find myself and however much I don't actually care about what terminology we use, I will admit that it can get confusing at times. We could even use the APCO ten codes for this board but for god's sakes don't let the Tulsa NIMS Queers out...they'll Hi-Jack anything.

No. Not OCPD. I own a security agency. I have been doing this for a long time and have always had 42 as my unit number. In reference to the Ida designation, no. The name of my company is CSI. Actually, Compass Security, Incorporated.

Were this a play on words game, you would have scored well though. Nice.

OKC CSI

Ok thanks,

Midwest City'sa 10 codes are completely different. A few are the same, but they go about their calls different. Ever notice they give a dispostion at the end of a completed call? D-1, D-2, D-3...and so on. Much different than OCPD, or any other agency around here as well.

OKC CSI

Yes the dispostion codes have been around for 4 years now and thats all I can say, the MCPD, MCFD, and MCEMS officers like them alot you can very easily tell the dispatcher what you did just by using the D-codes..

DCPD also uses them..
