Is there anyone in the Sioux Falls area that is willing to chat off line regarding scanning here in Sioux Falls and best scanner to think about getting/ I am now using the Radio Shack Pro 96 and Pro 2096. Thanks

Click on the envelope at the top of this screen, to the right of your username. Takes you to conversations.

I have attempted to use the "conversation" function; however, when I do, I find it posted in the forums.

I have monitored that area with decent results. It is a robust scanning environment that can be monitored with a digital scanner capable of Phase I trunking.

They're switching to Phase II by November, and word has it that they may encrypt interesting talk groups.
