SIRN Rumor?

Rumors have it the SIRN system was sold to Motorola? Is this correct? If it's correct what does that mean for the future of the SIRN System? I've already heard of yearly license fees from Motorola to direct connect clients? Are individual fees coming to Mobiles, Portables and non-direct connect consoles?
