The 20+ year old /\/\ Centracom radio is down for good; all police communications have been moved to Skiatook Fire side (154.325) so dispatch can operate on a single mobile radio until better arrangements can be made.

We got the police side in service using a different controller, but we're still dispatching fire on a mobile for the time being.

So you had a console failure and you didn't have to call in a bunch of amateur radio folks to get you back up and going? :)
Haha, no but we weren't that far off....

Tuesday night the Board of Trustees approved the new radio setup; Total Radio should be placing the order today

I'm sure Total Radio is grinning all the way to the bank. Their company logo should say "We make a killin' and keep on chillin'."

Just giving you a reception report, I heard your officers for the first time on the new repeater. My monitoring post is in the German Corner area. Sounds great. Congratulations on the new gear.

There must be a few dept's using 155.250 ....I know OWD uses it alot and so does OCSO ...Back about 10 yr's or so ago digicom programmed that exact freq is the maxtrac 16ch for the OCSO patrol car's . But that repeater should be heard clear up to the KS line
