I see slemco freq here in the db. I dont understand what a ltr is. Can anyone tell me how to properly monitor slemco in lafayette

First, you will need a scanner that does LTR trunktracking. Not all scanners will do LTR. What scanner are you using?

Unfortunately the pro-95 wont trunktrack LTR. You can still use it to listen to the frequencies in FM mode but you will hear a quick databurst about every ten seconds. It sounds like someone quickly keying their mic and letting go of the PTT without saying anything. If you can find one, the pro-92 will do LTR as well as any of the scanners that Uniden currently sells.
