Slight issue using PRE-500

Look around in your software. There should be a way to enter all of your scanner settings. Once you have the settings correct in one file, you should be able to merge those settings into any new files you create.
Believe me, I understand what you are going through. When I first got my PSR 500, I was overwhelmed. It was quite a steep learning curve for me. The main thing, "don't give up."
I had to get help from those at GRE. If you like, write to "Jack." at GRE. I think I wrote around 20 different emails coaching me through the programming process.
I hate Butel. Mine went into the trash. I bought Win500. In my opinion, it is much easier to use.
When you load the contents of the radio or build such within Win500, you can easily see which scan lists are enabled.
There is a simplified version of the GRE instructions in RR. I strongly suggest that you review. Again, the difficulty of initial programming is worth the outcome.
