I will tell you though that getting the feeds loaded in Resco can be a bit tricky. I've tried to just manually add new feeds but the URL never sticks. I've found you need to download or create a PLS file (playlist file) on your desktop PC and then upload it to your phone. Once you have done that, then you can import the feeds flawlessly into Resco. Then it's just a matter of going in and putting them in the right category and giving them a better description.
Publicsafetyfeeds.com has a wonderful list of feeds you can use to create PLS files with. I have about 20 or so live feeds loaded into Resco. Great program, well worth the asking price.

AZScanner is correct. I've also found that I need to download the .pls or.m3u file onto my PC, followed by importing them into Resco Radio. If it helps folks, I use WinAmp for the download process.
Just start listening to a live feed using WinAmp. Then hit file - save playlist. From there just choose either the .pls or .m3u format, name the file & save it to your hard drive somewhere. In Resco Radio go to All Stations - New - Import. Browse to the .pls or .m3u file you saved to your hard drive and click on the file. It will now appear as a radio station under My Radios.

Are there any Windows Mobile based phones that are able to stream WME encoded audio (with or without video) without 3rd party apps? Carrier is irrelevant - I'm just wanting to get off this GD Nextel phone that I am on!

Do you want the phone to receive the WME-encoded stream, or generate it? If the former, I'd think that just about all of them will do it, using "Windows Media Player Mobile" that's included in the phone (I'm presuming that all WM5 and WM6 phones would have that 'standard' software included).JWhipple said:

As mentioned, Blackberry phones may be able to stream with the use of 3rd Party Applications. Im sure if you pick up a Treo with the Palm OS on it, you can find some application that will allow you to stream.
The key is smart phones as you need the internet access to reach the streams.

I'm not very familiar with the Blackberry interface so sorry I cannot help you any further. There are many forums that provide ways to "hack" (for lack of a better term) the blackberries to do things that aren't conventional. You can try www . howardforums . com (no spaces) or www . crackberry . com to see if there are any ways or programs to help you live stream. Good luck.
