Smyrna Company Channel

Folks,

I don't get through DE enough to know the ins & outs of the system.....does Smyrna utilize its company channel for on scene ops (on accidents, fires, etc) or just for non-emergency company business? Same for the other FDs w/ company channels? Are they using the TALK simplex freqs for on-scene comms?

Most FD company channels are for company related communications, during the last hurricane and tornado in NCC many situations were handled on company channels to free the TAC channels for incident commanders to communicate with fire board.
