Picked up a PRO-668 off of eBay last week for dirt cheap. Have owned the PSR-800 in the past, so I'm quite familiar with the workings of the software, but I am having one issue with the 668 version on my computer....

When in full screen, the very bottom is "cut off," for lack of a better term. I can't see / access any of the programming tabs at the bottom. It is only marginally better when I'm not in full screen; then I'm seeing just the very top of the tabs. I've tried it on both of my computers and it's the same on both of them.

Just wondering if anyone else has had an issue like this, and if so, how was it solved? Is there a way to change the size even when it's in full screen? What good is having programming software if one cannot access all of its functions?

Any help / tips / comments and/or suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

Many thanks in advance.

:)

bottom tabs cut-off in software

Yes, I too have seen this. There is a scroll tab in the software, but even when scrolled all the way down sometimes you still can't fully see the tabs. I can see the tops of the tabs and can tell how the tabs are labeled but generally it's not a problem for me but is quite inconvenient. I suppose I could try to change the resolution on the monitor but feel it's not worth it. It seems to be worse when I am manually entering frequencies into a playlist. When I'm just viewing Conventional frequencies or Talkgroups I can clearly see the tabs.

Jonsmith, I know you weren't directly providing a solution to my problem, but nevertheless, you did just that; solved my problem.

I went into Control Panel seeing what adjustments to the resolution I might be able to make that would help, but none of those adjustments made any difference. However, when I went to the display section of the CP, I saw the "change the size of all items' toggle was all the way over to the right, i.e., the "larger" setting. I moved the toggle to the middle setting and clicked apply. Re-opened the scanner software and lo and behold, everything showed up as it should, especially the bottom tabs.

Since I didn't give screen settings a thought, I just want to give a hearty "Thank you!!" for putting the thought in my head. Much appreciated.
