Read the the manual to see if I could figure out why this happened. Didn't see anything stand out that showed I made a mistake. So will list how I did this. Maybe someone can see if I did screw up. I don't care to hook up the R30 to the computer. I remove the sd card and put in the computer using a card reader. The software reads it fine.
Put card into card reader and put in usb port.
Fire up ARC30
ARC30 sees the card and file, select file
Loads all my current data that I imported manually from an early time
0-17 banks are used with data I put manually earlier
bank 18 and on are blank so I want to use bank 18 to import data from RR
I selected Ramsey Simulcast P25, hit import
It fills bank 18 but listed all freqs as FM instead of P25, changed them.
Saved, asked to overwrite current file, said yes
Closed software, removed sd card from computer
put sd card in R30, turned on
Did a import from sd card
All my original data is there, banks 0-17. Bank 18 had everything combined from bank 0-17 plus what I imported. Am at a loss at this point.
